About Susan

I have been a licensed acupuncturist and Chinese herbal graduate since 2018. I graduated Maryland University of Integrative Health and practice with both Five Elements and Eight Principle theories. I have taken coursework outside of my school experience during my entire program, including trauma with integrated somatic experiencing, additional pulse diagnosis, sleep, and myofascial and craniosacral unwinding therapy. I am a general practitioner with a goal of being able to extend further into my ability to take care of the Chinese medicine needs of the whole family.

Before my life in Chinese medicine, I studied Reiki, studied a spiritual healer path in what was passed down from the Apache people, and taught a path to adulthood in the same tradition. I spent over 12 active duty years in the U.S. Army and became a military leader, Casualty Assistance Officer, and Master Resilience Trainer as well as other soft skills that went along with my technical and tactical duties.

The most common question I get with this background is if practicing peacefulness and nonopposition conflicts with my military background. The answer is, peace and nonopposition do not conflict. You can be peaceful and soldier if peace is what is going on inside.

You can also find me on Instagram and LinkedIn pretty easy.
